Castillo de AlcaudeteLos peregrinos del Camino de Santiago que inician su andadura desde el sur tienen ahora, en Jaén, un nuevo lugar donde descansar al final de las duras jornadas. Es en el municipio de Alcaudete, un lugar de paso obligado para los peregrinos procedentes de Almería, Granada y Jaén.La Asociación Jacobea de Jaén confirma que el municipio contará, en breve, con un albergue para peregrinos.
Una necesidad buscada por los vecinos debido al fuerte incremento de peregrinos que, en los últimos años, han pasado por Alcaudete en su camino a Santiago de Compostela.Para construir este albergue, se restaurará una antigua casa con más de 100 años que se encuentra justo al lado del camino, concretamente en los bajos del Castillo de Alcaudete. Las obras, que ya están en marcha, finalizarán en unas semanas. El albergue podrá acoger a lo largo del tiempo entre 6 y 10 peregrinos.
