Esta es una hermosa ciudad colonial con una impresionante iglesia que fue declarada “Patrimonio de la Humanidad” por la UNESCO en 1990, al igual que las otras iglesias de este circuito. Después del almuerzo, atravesará los bosques abiertos y las sabanas; hasta el pueblo de Concepción. Este es el mayor centro misionero, con una destacada iglesia jesuita construida entre 1753 y 1756, una verdadera joya del siglo XVIII de estilo colonial y barroco. Su visita a la iglesia se complementa con el Museo Misionero, donde se conservan partituras originales del periodo renacentista-barroco.
